This course builds upon concepts taught in earlier courses and identifies the components of several outpatient claims and bill validation techniques.

At the conclusion of this course you will be able to:
• Identify the modifiers replacing modifier 59
• Explain the format of how and where the National Drug Code (NDC) is listed on the UB, when required
• Name the number of modifiers that may be appended to one HCPCS.
• List the modifier that may be added to an E&M code.
