In the workplace, we may have co-workers, customers or clients who are transgender. It’s essential that we treat trans people with respect and avoid discrimination. In this course we’ll look at ways that you can be an ally to transgender people and help to make your workplace a supportive and inclusive space for everybody, regardless of differences.

On completion of this course, you should be able to:
Recognize the increased risk of employment discrimination for transgender people
Identify appropriate transgender terminology and language
Explain the legal rights of transgender people in the workplace
Describe the benefits of an inclusive workplace
Give examples of what transgender inclusion looks like
Describe ways to be an ally and promote transgender inclusion
