Problem-solving is an integral part of project management; regardless of how well you plan, problems will occur. In fact, most projects originate from a problem that needs to be solved. Much of a project manager’s time is going to be spent on problem-solving throughout the project. New challenges you encounter is your trigger to expand and develop new skills. You don’t build endurance until you push yourself to work harder, to use an analogy from sports. This multi-step process is proven when working through challenging problems.
